The Transit Ring was inspired by the transformation in Cielo Nublado’s journey. It marks the shift to 100% in-house production and embraces the quirks of the sand casting process.
The ring's carvings are intentionally uneven, off-center, and a bit wobbly, further enhancing the uniqueness of each piece.
So much of life is out of our control; these rings are a reminder to ride the ups and cruise the lows. As long as we are always in transit, we’ll make it through.

Process-
The Transit Ring is hand-carved out of wax, cast into metal, and finished with multiple layers of sanding and polishing. My favorite part about the Transit Ring is to intentionally expose some of the pores and uneven edges that highlight the sand-casting technique. It’s a celebration of this process and what makes each ring unique.
Inspiration-
I made this ring in an attempt to celebrate where I was- in the middle of a messy shift. It can be such an uncomfortable space- to know you can be somewhere better, but not quite there. It was an invitation to take one step forward and let a little something go at the same time.

I am exactly where I am meant to be. I have time. There is no rush.
